But seriously, he's just that good--and everyone into Korean hiphop seems to be aware of that as far as I can tell. So much so that when he appeared on SMTM 5 everyone knew he was going to win right from the beginning.
He's very innovative with his tracks and his rap flow is flawless. He's multi-talented to a point where it's kinda hard to argue whenever he shows his cocky side...because compared to other newer rappers of the same age he is on a whole different level.
And this week's VOW is a perfect example of this.
If you've only listened to his most recent album I strongly suggest you take a look at some of his slightly older stuff because they are gems of a different sort.

This song was released just before SMTM 5 premiered (almost like a prelude to what was to come for that season) and it is definitely one of my favorites by him.
From the moment the song (which he produced btw) starts you just know it is going to be epic. It has this otherworldly sound--which could be a byproduct of his Christian background--that is beautifully captivating. The music track has a very holy kind of tone--matching the general concept of the song while emphasizing his higher level through the beat. You can't help but pay attention.
But then--BewhY does what he does best.
The moment he starts rapping only further entrances you into the song. I don't even know what he is saying and I can't stop listening. From start to finish I'm hooked every time I listen to this song....
You know what? Just listen to this week's VOW and thank me later if you somehow missed out on this until now.
